Can Pipe Flow Wizard calculate the required minimum size diameter of a pipe?
Yes. When the internal pipe roughness, pipe length, pipe fittings, plus pipe's change in elevation are known then for a given flow rate in the pipe and a required pressure drop, the MINIMUM INTERNAL DIAMETER of the pipe can be calculated.
The results information will also display the type of flow (laminar or turbulent), the associated Reynold's number, and the friction factor used in the diameter sizing calculation.
