The Navigator can be positioned to one of the four docked positions (top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right) using the corresponding Navigator toolbar button.


The Navigator can also be repositioned anywhere within the Pipe Flow Expert window by clicking and dragging its header to the desired position.  Note that when the Navigator is not docked, it cannot be automatically brought into view if it becomes obscured by another window.


The Navigator's position is saved as part of the system. When a system is loaded, the Navigator will be restored to the position it was in when the system was last saved.


The Navigator's dock position can also be configured using the options available on the Editor tab of the Configuration Options dialog. If these configuration settings are saved as default options, the selected Navigator dock position will automatically apply to newly opened systems or tabs.

If there is insufficient space in the Node & Pipe Pane for the Navigator to dock in the bottom left position, it will instead dock in the bottom-left corner of the Drawing Pane.
