General 06 – Fixed Speed Pump with Performance Curve
A chemical is to be transferred to two tanks at a specific flow rate to each tank.
The flow rate is controlled by flow control valves in the pipe lines to each tank.
The upper tank requires a flow rate of 0.146m≥/min and the lower tank requires a flow rate of 0.120m≥/min.
A bespoke filter system is incorporated into the system. This filter has been modelled as a component on pipe P3. The friction losses through the filter have been entered as flow and head values to produce a performance curve for the component.
