Can Pipe Flow Wizard calculate flow rates in a pipe?
Yes. When a pipe's internal roughness, internal diameter, length, fittings, start to end elevation change, and available pressure (pressure at start of pipe minus pressure required at end of pipe) are known then the FLOW RATE that will occur in the pipe can be calculated.
The type of fluid flow (laminar or turbulent), the Reynold's number, the friction factor, and the fluid velocity are calculated and displayed alongside the resulting flow rate.
